I am a James Beard Award-nominated lifestyle journalist, with work appearing in The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, Bon Appétit, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, Eater, and elsewhere. My 2025 memoir, Cellar Rat: My Life in the Restaurant Underbelly, was critically acclaimed, and my 2026 debut novel, Valley of the Moms, was an instant USA Today bestseller, selling over 21,000 hardcover copies in under four months. It was also selected as Barnes & Nobles' June Book Club pick. My next novel, Evelyn Allen Has Left the Chat, will be released in April 2027. My books all appear under the Hachette Little, Brown imprint. In addition to this work, I have ghostwritten many books, with divergent topics ranging from mountain rescues atop California's Mount Shasta; near-death experiences involving Great White shark attacks; and full-life memoirs.
