Dr. Marcia Layton Turner
NYT and WSJ Bestselling Book Ghostwriter for Business Leaders
About
I'm a book ghostwriter who has authored, co-authored, or ghostwritten nearly 90 nonfiction books for both traditional publishers, including HarperCollins Leadership, McGraw-Hill, John Wiley, and Penguin Random House, as well as hybrid presses such as Greenleaf, Jenkins Group, and Authority. Many have been about entrepreneurship, small business, and real estate. My work has appeared in magazines ranging from Businessweek to Entrepreneur to Inc., Black Enterprise, REALTOR, and dozens of trade publications. Online you can find my work at US News & World Report, CNN Money, and Forbes.com. Corporate clients have included Walmart, Staples, Chase Bank, PNC Bank, and ADP, among many others. In addition to helping aspiring authors structure their books and gather relevant stories to make a compelling read, I also advise on publishing options and help jump-start the book marketing process. When I spotted the emergence of ghostwriting as a profession in the early 2000s, I founded the Association of Ghostwriters, which I continue to run as its executive director.
